Here is the project I just did using mograph in C4D. The small letters falling are all mograph objects, which is why they bounce off the floor when they hit. But then I actually turn the dynamics off after they're on the floor so that they can fly together into the word "TEXTURE."

C4D Lighting and Camera Work
Here is the project I did experimenting with lighting and camera work in C4D. I did some playing around with putting a camera on a spline (in this case a spiral) that goes around the subject. I also compared different lighting techniques. I did some HDRI (High Dynamic Range Imaging) lighting that looks nice, but is hard to control in motion situations. I also manually placed softbox lights in the scene for illumination, which is time intensive but probably more real-world, like a studio setup.

Project 2
Now I'm working on Cinema 4D projects. The first one will be doing experimentation with lighting and camera work. The second one will be doing work with Mograph, C4D's physics engine.

Project 1 Final
Here is the finished project.
Next I'll be doing some Cinema 4D work.

Motionographer Site
Motionographer is a good site for inspiration, and it has a nice job board as well.

New Artwork
I went back and made some changes to the look of the girl.
Most of the changes are in the hair and the mouth. The hair is a different color, and it's not so drastically jagged. The color is nice to have in an otherwise dark, black landscape. I also made the mouth so it wasn't as curvy...that way she looks younger and more innocent. And before I hadn't finalized what I wanted to do with the clothes, but a school girl uniform fit with trying to make her seem innocent and could fit with the story as well...maybe she was walking home from school through the woods.
